Curious - How Old Is Everybody?

For me, it was when I went to a thrift store to buy a stationary power tool they'd advertised on Craigslist. It was a great deal and I was thrilled I was able to jump on it before it got snatched up.

At the checkout, the woman asked me if I was 55 or older, in which case I qualified for their "Senior Tuesday" 25% discount. It turned a great deal into a screaming deal but it was also the worst best news I'd gotten in a long time.

I’m in my mid-forties and still get carded-though less often every year-for drinks and at the liquor store. I want the baby face to hold out long enough to get carded at an establishment where I qualify for the senior discount.
