With permit less carry and easy access to weapons when violence does erupt in crowded places its going to be nasty with bullets flying around indiscriminately but there's still a difference between that and someone carrying a weapon into a school to massacre defenseless kids.
Anyone with any sense realizes the consequences of the number of guns and policies in the states but cold blooded murder of the innocent young is still horrifying, though I notice more and more jaded folks either joking/memeing about the latest incidents or using it to goad their political opponents.
