What's really sad is that he could have used the carb cleaning for an informative blog post, lots of pictures of disassembly, cleaning and reassembly, part numbers, tools, etc, all the things he said he made note of, you know, for those following in his wake, but instead we get a badly truncated exploded drawing, obviously lifted from an online source, with a spiffy logo, cropped for visual impact rather than usefulness, an old weather report, and a bunch of snarky comments...

B J, a simple carburetor like this should be childs-play for a MSEE-from-Stanford with an A&P license. But with his vaunted photographic skills and burgeoning photoshop ability, I just would have expected more...for those who follow in his wake.

How's the radar repair going, found the chafed wire yet? Didn't you drag your milspec propane line through the area that the wiring is in?

Maybe you zorched it while smoking the capacitors on your Drake, just a thought , but wouldn't QRP operation be safer and more practical? 9v batteries and a radio that fits into an Altoid tin makes more sense in the cramped confines of a boat.
