I have an rv with hydraulic slide outs. The living room system has a ‘balancer’ cylinder that someh keeps the slide aligned. Due to the extremely cheap standard rv construction philosophy the cylinder was leaking badly. On one end the rod just stuck out of the cylinder 7”. It corroded and the cheap chrome was s
flaking off. I removed the cylinder and took it to a big commercial shop. They had no issues rebuilding it - only problem was a new rod was not ava and the manufacturer was out of stock for replacement units. So I made a condom to cover the exposed rod and keep it away from water and rust
Altho the shop had never worked on any stuff like this they just followed industry normal procedures to fix it

You might try Premier Rubber in Portland. They do all sorts of custom hoses and hydraulic fittings. I would imagine they would know who in the area could rebuild it.

Just fyi, if you don't care to fuck with hydraulics. That pilot will equally happily drive a ray marine electro magnetic or whatever it is ram. When this kit was the latest gear the popular thing on open 60's etc was to use the b&g brain as it was "clever" and the ray marine ram as they were lighter and had way less drag in standby.

The old ram and the new ram have been at the machine shop for a while, getting mounting adapters fabricated. I'd better call them up this week and see how it's going.
