Our primary isn’t until august. That will be reversed by then.
I'm sure it will, DeSenseless wouldn't have it any other way. I just hope his supporters realize all those dumb ass laws will not survive once appealed.

Here is DeSenseless promising more.

Watch Liddle Marco decry Cuba for stifling dissent but never mention the Governor of his home state, as well as the Legislature, who codify the stifling of dissent here.

There was an interesting discussion column in a Florida online newspaper, 'The Ledger' note the name the author chose to describe Gov DeSantis.

Gov. DeSantis … or is the name really Guv. DePutin?

You once told Floridians, and the world, that Florida's elections were the best and safest in the United States. Alas, you rethought it and decided it'd give you more power, money and coveted voters if you went with Donald Trump's Big Lie.

Florida needed to be watched and protected against law-abiding Floridians. We now have our own election police, state police and pregnancy police to watch us and protect us from any freedoms we used to choose for ourselves. Plus, lest we forget, we also have police to carefully watch, "eeekkkk," the Mouse Kingdom, in case, their stance for equality of all human beings actually takes hold in people's minds.

Now we need thought police to keep us safe from ourselves. What other freedoms will we give to a governor aching to be the next president … or will it be something else?

So, as President, will he try to nationalize the "MEEDEEUH"?

Sounds like he wants to go down that path, and Rubio is right with him, pushing bills to restrict the healthcare benefits that companies can offer employees.

Nice batch of "small gov't" politicians you GOPpers have these days.

Gov. Ron DeSantis said Monday the state, rather than any local government, would take control of a taxing district that benefits Walt Disney Co. when the district is dissolved next year. But details of how to handle the Reedy Creek Improvement District will be resolved after new legislative leaders take their positions following the November elections, DeSantis said during an appearance at Seminole State College of Florida.

“We’re working on some proposals. I think we’ve got pretty much what we want to do,” DeSantis said. “But I’m going to work with the legislative leaders, who are going to come in after the election, to make sure that we’re all in agreement.”

The way these fuckers work, the new and improved Disney World will be modelled on Bucha or Auschwitz.

Maybe there's a hint here somewhere...

Lawmakers last month did not detail what agencies would pick up the services provided by Reedy Creek or who would be responsible for its debt, which has been estimated to top $1 billion. DeSantis put the debt figure at $766 million. State law requires that when special districts are abolished, their assets and liabilities go to local governments. But DeSantis said local governments will not pick up the Reedy Creek debt or control district property.

“That debt will not end up going to any of these as local governments, it’s not going to go to the state government either,” DeSantis said. “It’s going to absolutely be dealt with (by) the taxpayers who are currently in that district.”

DeSantis contended state control would protect residents in Central Florida. “I’d much rather have the state leading that effort, than potentially having local governments,” DeSantis said. “First of all, it’d be a cash cow for them if they had Disney. But I’m worried that they would use that as a pretext to raise taxes on people, when that’s what they would want to do anyways, and then try to blame Reedy Creek.”
