1. Schools are "woke" so they don't want those.
2. Experts and scientists are liberal Elites and deep State people so don't listen to them
3. Elections are shady and rigged by sinister Democrats so it's better just to trust an authoritarian person like DeSantis and do whatever it takes to keep him and people like him in power
It really is a dystopian worldview and does not belong in this Century or even the last one. I'm not sure we can keep a lid on them. The Democrats are playing softball while Republicans yearn for fascism and reject hundreds of years of progress.
