Ronald Dion DeSantis will be the Republican Nominee for President in 2024.

Republicans will not make a criminal (Donald Trump) as their Nominee.
Incorrect! He’s already up 30 points among GOP wing nuts. GOP only hope is that he strokes out.

Trumps Attorneys have already said that he will surrender to the Office of the Manhattan District Attorneys Office next week so your Point is mood.

Republican Primary Voters will not select a criminal as their Nominee for President.

I doubt the case will be resolved by primary season.

And, what kind of mood would that be.

The prospect of the defeated ex-President, Dear Leader of the GOP, facing the first of what is likely to be multiple indictments, has me in a good mood.

Ron DeSantis will spend up to $4 billion on school vouchers for Florida families to challenge 'woke' public schools

  • Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is waging a war against 'woke' public schools.
  • Universal vouchers without restrictions on families' incomes will create competition for students, he argues.
  • The up to $4 billion program may eat into public school budgets.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has declared the Sunshine State is "where woke goes to die." His latest target is public schools.

On Monday, the governor signed universal school vouchers into law, which both conservatives and liberals expect to hurt public schools.

The new law eliminates financial eligibility restrictions to participate in the state's voucher program, which subsidizes the cost of families sending their children to private schools and other public school alternatives. All Florida K-12 students will now be eligible for vouchers projected to be $8,700 per student on average, according to the Miami Herald.

They were determined to get arrested and good for them. In that case, the park rule was already in place and the cops were put between two political factions wanting to make points.

"After multiple warnings throughout the day, protestors acknowledged they understood that anyone refusing to leave the premises at sundown would be subject to arrest," the spokesperson wrote. "This evening, after sunset, the majority of the crowd left the property while 11 people refused to leave despite numerous requests. They were subsequently arrested for trespass after warning."

"TPD encourages individuals exercising their First Amendment right of peaceful assembly to do so in accordance with the law. TPD supports non-disruptive demonstrations and works diligently to protect and uphold the rights of citizens every day."

Assembly in violation of the law can be political expression but can also get you a photo op or arrested or both at once.

Changing the rule in response to a permit request strikes me as different.

OccupyTally sought a protest permit and got a no camping sign at City Hall instead

...the sign was not specifically meant for OccupyTally...

A remarkable coincidence of timing.
