Digital Camera

I recently caved in the screen of my Sony Cyber-shot (that I loved) and I need a new digital camera. I am very hard on my gear so I am looking for something that can be beaten up and still work, any ideas?

Yep, not the best images, but the toughest in its class. I dropped mine from 5' onto a concrete floor during a demonstration, and it wasn't even scraped.

I bought a Cannon D10 at the beginning of the summer , it is water proof to 30' has been dropped a few times by my 3 year old . Still takes great shots.

though im not tempted to try it, i think my old canon A1 could take a pretty good hit. I joke that if a person were to try to mug me and i had that camera, i could bash 'em with it and then take their picture laying on the ground...

The D10 has better image quality than the Olympus but it also looks like a 3 year old's toy.

I've had 42.5 years of incredibly reliable use from this baby.

I've dropped it so many times I've lost count. It doesn't taste very good though.

I've got an Olympus SW as well, fantastic little thing.

I got a Pentax Optio W60 this spring. It's not as rugged as the Olympus cameras, but it's waterproof, takes nice pictures, it's easy to use, and it uses SD/SDHC memory cards, which I already had, so I didn't have to go buying a bunch of new memory cards and adapters.
