You have there what is technically known as: A Shitter. Produced by various different designers and builders over the years. Common features include cleats and other deck fittings put where you would otherwise want to sit, rowlock positions that are great for midgets with 7 foot long arms to use, a hull shape that encourages use of a motor when the wind is coming from where you need to go, and a mast with a fuse in it, that will allow the rig to self jettison if you are ever hit by a gust.

I have one on a mooring outside the house, it's a great place to drift and drink and watch the sunset on a summers evening, I dare not let my racing friends see me in it, for fear they'll organise an intervention.

We have a 16 footer like this, it's the club aircraft carrier, internal ballast and a 70 something kilo cast steel centreboard. loved by all those who don't like getting wet.
Yours would make a nice tender for her. Get the bobstay rigged and unbolt those cleats on the edges they look painful!
