It reads to me like the judge made the jury's job much easier.
The basis of facts for the trial are that FNN published false statements that damaged Dominion, and the jury gets to decide whether FNN did so with actual malice or were just incompetent and reckless.
That decision will influence how the judge instructs the jury to assess damages.
It is not clear if FC published false statements. The jury will also decide that question, and possibly go through the same deliberations about damages to be awarded as for FNN.
So the jury gets to decide how egregious the lying was, and gets to decide HOW MUCH to award Dominion.

Mike has been flicked yet again, I believe. Tom is still posting but everyone has him on ignore.
Oddly enough, I think Tom has everyone on double-ignore. Got the idea from Alan H who got all snowflakey when someone criticized a church, or something.

On guns, I think Tom can fuck off and die because I really don't give a damn.
On most of the other topics he posts, I find them quite interesting and valuable. Basically it's on executive overreach and police abuse of the public.
If you ignore everything he posts because of gunz, you're doing yourself a disservice IMO.
I sort of understand most of the Septics here doing that because they're so anti-gun that it colours everything they think, but IMO it shows how blind and closed their mindset is. Tom most certainly lives rent-free in olsonist's head.

Yeah, except that Tom liked to make shit up. Big supporter of the falsification of history. Tom is always right. ALWAYS! I'm not a psychologist and never played one on TV but I think that was the motive for the long talking-to-himself threads.
Also, Tom once said that it takes the same amount of skill to ride a jetski as to race high performance sailboats. That shot down his opinions about boats, for me. I've 98% ignored Tom's posts for years, so him putting me on double-secret ignore was a surprise but no loss.
Say something good: Tom likes dogs, helps run a junior sailing program (big plus), and is apparently a fair landlord.

There’s been no trial yet. I think by involving the jury in making decisions an appeal is less likely.
I assumed once damages anre awarded appeal will be the automatic delay tactic. Give FOX a chance to earn interest and inflation to depreciate the penalty, maybe find a Trump judge,
