Your god seems awfully human to me. He's a jealous motherfucker to be sure. He's full of contradictions. Can't have an abortion but crusades, holy wars, jihads, etc. are apparently acceptable. Sends his only son to earth knowing he will get murdered but he won't stay dead so who really cares. By the way, sacrificing a kid to save the world and then bringing him back to life 3 days later isn't much of a sacrifice is it. So anyway, this god wants us to believe he's the man, no others allowed, yet he allows a multitude of religions to appear and these religions, although professing to believe in the same god and all of his confusing and conflicting rules, to kill each other with reckless abandon at times and violating just about all of the commandments in the process. WTF???
The way I see it there are 2 possibilities. Either this god is one messed up psychotic being with serious issues, or given the personality traits of this god which are pretty much the best and worst traits of the average human, the whole crazy story is a human construct. Which I think is the answer and there is no god, it's all a big con job. Clearly there are Joseph Smith/Brigham Young/Mormonish levels of con artistry and bull shit happening here.
