Years ago I was working on a ubc professors home. He invited me in for tea with his wife and myself. We started chatting about what interested ourselves. This chap was overseeing the triumph facility, and I was intrigued. I was 22 or so, and he thought of me as "just a carpenter" . So I asked how he had identified the Quarks- up, down, epsilon, ECT were going. Do you know what he said next? Why are you only a carpenter? He couldn't talk with 99.5 percent of anybody, I just had an interest in it. I liked the scientific American mags back then, smoke a joint and think of new ideas. Do you think retroactive socialized education to benefit only recent loanholders is fair to
the ones that have just paid off their loans?
Do you think legally binding contractual obligations mutually agreed between two private parties can be arbitrarily dissolved by the government?
Do you think Democrats arguing to apply a 20 year old law meant to give relief to Afganistan and Iraq war veterans who served their country was meant to use public monies to pay off private loans to privleged college kids many choosing to obtain useless degrees?
