Who's got them? I just bought a pair to put behind the camper van when me and the wife go traveling.

A sailor friend in his 70s does a 10-15 mile ride most days. He claims to keep E-assist low. I will look at one on spring. For now I get on the atationary 30 minutes everyday. Mext month I will start pedalling it

1,
I rode one on a tour of Paris last year. Not sure of the brand but I really enjoyed the experience of making stops on the tour and not being sweaty and huffing.

I really want one. They can go pretty far on a charge!

The OC.
My wife and I bought Rad Power bikes a couple of months ago.  I am 73 and have over 150k miles of road riding in the last 50 years, millions of vertical skiing, years of beach volleyball, and surfing 10-20' foot faces, no knee cartilage now, so the E assist allows me to ride to a degree

Very Cool!!!  But for a few hundred more I would opt for this, instead.......$2,000.

I think the idea is that those of us who have knee problems can still exercise with minum discomfort or further damage.

This. The old fart demographic is a driving force in the e-bike industry. And is key to recent legislation being passed to opening up bike paths and trails that were closed to e-bikes recently. The spandex nazis are not happy. Fuck those skinny people  :)

Oh yeah. Thanks Snaggs. I'll have my people call your people when I get ready to run.

I'm lucky enough to still be riding a single speed mtn bike and my cruiser for around town. However a neighbor got one and let me take it for a spin, I see the attraction.

What happens when you are having so much fun you wind up far far away from home with a dead battery? Do you now have a bike that's a bitch to ride and a long way to get home?

I love bikes.

I know I can go 22 miles on my e-bike.  Farther  on my Harley.  It's all good until...

No problem!

Just stick a cheap gas generator on the bike rack ... hey, unlimited range!
