Good point, thought I could call out some of the negativity here as it’s nearly unbearable at times. In doing so I have joined the problem and realistically it’s a pointless endeavour. I’ll try to stick to commentary that is more productive. 🙂

It’s really a simple equation: Don’t spout BS that flies in the face of clearly provable facts - and I’ll have nothing to work with.

I am guessing because that started before GPS and peak speeds are easier to measure with a tire on the ground than a paddlewheel in the water.
