Where's the Hydrogen foil thingy?

Isn't it best suited as a zero carbon emission viewing/filming platform?

Those carbon offset payments must be stacking up...

Places all over the US get terrible floods every year and few cities are able to cope with 'worst-case' scenarios, but this year was for sure a bad one! Thankfully no major cities got nailed recently.

Slow day, so will ask: If a normal car is parked in water halfway up its doors, does the water leak into the interior?
my old VW beetle apparantley not.............. i managed to prove them wrong on that one though

It would make more sense if PB and NO squared off AGAINST each other, IMO. No advantage them helming together in AC40, 2 boat training. So 4 helms likely required. Fortunately, ETNZ has no shortage of useful helming talent.
Definitely need to sharpen PB on the starts. Repeatedly going head to head with the AC40's in a virtual start box would, IMHO, be hugely beneficial.

They look pretty fast but I watched the long video and although the wind chop was handled with ease everytime one of those random bigger swells was encountered they seem to touchdown. Barcelona conditions are a lot rougher than they are sailing in at the moment.

NZ started 2 boat testing

And Ineos and NZ swapped a build slot for the Ac40. Presumably Ineos gave up their earlier slot for a later one since they still aren't using their boat. Wonder what motivated them to be so generous

Ineos surely already has AC40-2? But, according to a Palma-based poster here, it has some hull lamination issues? ETNZ does have AC40-1 and AC40-3, which is a touch suprising but maybe another team agreed with that considering the nose rip-off and subsequent design changes. Ineos put in only 1 AC40 order, iirc, and they did get that #2.

We have seen pics of the first of the two Alinghi AC40 ordered boats arriving just yesterday, it must surely be AC40-4.
