Mast ball location relative to mast tube and foil arms.
Eg... you can only extent the mast below the mast ball.
Mast ball location relative to mast tube and foil arms.
That was my thought too. But when I look I cannot see anything that says the MRP is at the bottom of the mast, rather than at the bottom of an extension. So I'm not certain that you could not in theory put a 1500mm extension on the bottom the mast tube down to the MRP.Mast ball location relative to mast tube and foil arms.

If you put a 1500mm extension between the mast tube and the MRP, then the mast would extend 1500mm above the the mast upper plane. That was my thought too. I suspect you are right, I just cannot see the rule that prevents it
That alone doesn't do it because the MUP is primarily defined relative to the mast tube!. But figure 15.1 does put a max distance between MRP and MUP.If you put a 1500mm extension between the mast tube and the MRP, then the mast would extend 1500mm above the the mast upper plane.
So, the mast tube has to sit on on the MRP (mast ball).

No, but Justin was, we had a good catch-up. So his excellent videos will be along shortly, I'm sure.Nice work, Weta27. Was RG sharing your rock?
Most of the time I was watching they were too far away to tell, but in this shot it's only the guy in the front pod who crosses overSo 4 cyclors in the rear pods? Was anyone crossing over during the maneuvers?
The cyclors are tucked in nice and aero snug. Most of the time I was watching they were too far away to tell, but in this shot it's only the guy in the front pod who crosses over
