Emirates Team New Zealand.

What a sad situation. Is the NZHerald the main NZ newspaper? I heard many people here saying that the NZH is not very good. My impression from the outside is not bad though.
The NZH is fast eroding any respectable journalistic credibility. They have targeted ETNZ for years and claimed all sorts of scandal that, everytime is found to be baseless.

I wouldn't give them the steam off my piss. There's plenty of credible places to get your daily spiel from. The bouncer outside the casino knows more of what's going on than the NZH.

Can you suggest some more reliable sources of information? I like to read local points of view.

terrible outfit. clickbait, headlines that misrepresent the story,  a stable of on the take "commentators",  just the worst propaganda .   and yes for all that its one of the better outfits in good ole NZ...... we are not well served here

You will get far more erudite and balanced information here on SAAC than you will from any print radio or TV source in the home of the Cup for now :p

To use AI to work out how to sail the boat faster than the sailors. Then use that to teach the sailors how to sail faster is possibly going to be the most revolutionary aspect of this cup cycle. Even apart from it's ability to test foil designs without using the sailors time
This was the same way the team used autopilot last cycle. The pilot was faster in a straight line, the crew were better on manoeuvres. A great yardstick in your own team to challenge. AI does interactions without human interactions, bumping up the yardstick and challenging the soft fleshy bits even more. I reckon the fleshy bits would win convincingly at this level.

RNZ if you want information
Yup if you want to listen to Kim Hill interviewing some chick from Arkansas who has spent her whole life perfecting how to caramelise onions whilst listening to Verdi.

Traditionally yes.

Wellington had The Dominion (now stuff.co.nz), it was always a bit less serious, broader in scope & much smaller. (for AC they have the excellent Todd Nial ex of RadioNZ)

Like most other media globally they shed editorial staff, good journos & quality content through the 90s to increase profitability, then went online & got even worse.

Still state owned & non-profit Radio NZ probably has the most serious traditional political news service but the online presence is a bit limited. (and yes, quite a lot of their non-political content is pretty esoteric)

Online you have State owned but commercially run -> poop quality TVNZ and commercial but constantly financially borderline Newsroom.co.nz combining Mediaworks commercial TV3 & various radio stations.

Then you get into the punditry sphere with various blogs/sites run by various people including some of the former good journos & a bunch of those who don't realise they never were, mostly partisan in one way or the other.
