175,000 things wrong with that boatCheck out: https://www.yachtworld.com/yacht/1997-farr-40-8611872/
The program manager lurks here on occasion. The boat is well taken care of and Skip leaves no maintenance stone unturned. Pretty much a turn-key program.
That goes in the “what the ever fuck is wrong with sailing” category. Those are tiller extensions on the hyd pump handle so pump can be operated from the rail

No it in tandem with a dump valve on each side is the next best thing to an electric backstay pump. That goes in the “what the ever fuck is wrong with sailing” category.
The hydraulic sticks I've seen are typically a couple of the owner's old golf clubs with the head cut off. Very $$$$.I'm having trouble connecting, rail manipulated hydraulics, to owning big racer to show how much money I've spent. I'm proud of my Farr40, never gave the hydraulic sticks that much credit.

Or 49er tiller extensions. As others have said, this is an easy "mod" to the central handle that allows operation by the main trimmer without leaning in. We've been doing it this way on 40s since like 1998?The hydraulic sticks I've seen are typically a couple of the owner's old golf clubs with the head cut off. Very $$$$.![]()
We just took delivery of this one, hull 101. We just sold Hull 99 this fall. 101 will be turbo'd and available somepoint next year.
send me a note if you want help!
That depends on what you are getting, and sometimes not everything is about "profit" in a monetary sense. So flipping Farr 40s is profitable even with trucking to Halifax?

Maybe if you outline the "bill" the responses will be more helpful.Correct assumption... none really fitting the bill.
Which one is it?Anyone check out the one in WI listed on yw?
At least the stern pulpit got crunched summer of 2021 when a whole section of floating dock broke free during a bad squall line in NE WI. Don't know if there was any hull damage. I know because my boat was also tied to a finger pier on that section, along with about 12 other boats. Fortunately, there was very minimal damage to any of the boats, otherwise the insurance companies would still be fighting over things.Which one is it?
Edit: Nevermind. Figured it be Bandit, and found the listing. I’ve seen it on the water a bunch, but don’t have any insider info on how it was maintained. If anyone is seriously looking at it, I’d be happy to go get pictures/video etc. of anything you’re concerned about before investing in a surveyor. I live nearby. On that note, could also recommend an excellent surveyor who’s dialed in on proper race boats.
