Why do you have sump with transfer hose plugged into to the top in your water ballast system?

After seeing it out sailing in the distance yesterday I decided to use my lunchtime walk to sneak down and have a peek at the X2 in it's berth.

It's a very sexy beast in the flesh. Looks like lots of thought has gone into the deck layout ergonomics. The custom non-skid foam on the cockpit floor just make it look even better!

Looks like the Farr X2 is no longer registered for Pac Cup.  Bummer, but not surprising.  Getting a brand new boat ready for a Pac Cup in under 2 months sounded right up there with trying to put people on the moon.  Would have been fun to race against them.

From the picture it looks like the keel snapped off right at the hull. Possible it came completely out but doubt that.
