The NYT and various other news sources are reporting that Dr. Fauci will retire and step down from his positions in December.
I would expect that President Biden would award Dr. Fauci with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Fauci has one such award given to him by President Bush for Fauci’s work during the HIV/AIDS crisis. But the award can be granted to an individual more than one. Colin Powell is one such multiple awardee.

When considering Dr. Fauci's retirement, as with every other issue, it's important to recognize that I sometimes say bad things about TeamD gun bans and confiscation programs, so thanks for bringing that into the discussion again.
