This is just like your reaction to the J6 taxpayer funded, made for TV, professionally produced, totally scripted, Stalinist show trial without a defense. You don't need a fucking defense, do you? You know he's guilty already. Seriously WTF. It's really interesting how when it involves Trump niceties like the presumption of innocence go right out the window. Do you even know that Trump knew what was in the boxes? He certainly didn't pack them?

This better be about more than documents because if it's not they should have issued a subpoena first and only if that failed should they have shown up with body armor and automatic weapons. Garland committed to using the least intrusive methods. And if it's just documents then we have the Hillary Clinton standard to consider. We don't want different standards for Democrats and Republicans do we.

I don't want Trump running again but you guys are making him a martyr. He just gained 10 points on DeSantis as a result of this raid.
Hey idiot! You listening? (Of course not...) The "J6" hearings are hearings, not a trial. There was a subpoena for the boxes before the search warrant was served... The Trump people declined to comply with the subpoena.
The FBI agents involved last week were not dressed in tactical gear. They were wearing body armor, but otherwise looked very much like the SS agents already on site.
YOU know he's guilty. If you didn't you wouldn't be screaming so loudly and raising such a fuss. If he's innocent, he has nothing to worry about... Right? It doesn't matter if he knew what was in the boxes. They were on his property, his lawyer said they weren't there, and Trump pays (maybe) his lawyer to speak on his behalf.
Prima facie evidence says the boxes were on Donald Trumps property. Donald Trump said they were not. Believe your eyes, or what Tucker Carlson tells you.

And, yet, you called it just that.

Why do you think the defeated ex-President refuses to answer any questions? He fights subpoenas, and when runs out of options, pleads the 5th (like the "Mob", in his very words). Seems like he could clear all of this up but answering questions under oath. Wonder why he refuses.
No I didn't... And I don't explain Trump.

And spare us the parsing of "show trial". You know damned well words have meaning. The previous iteration of Dog was more concise and careful with his words. You are either an imposter or just getting sloppy.

What we saw on TV was not even a hearing. There was no discovery, everything presented was already known. It was more like a prosecution's opening statement.

Nice!

It's not a trial, it's a congressional inquiry. They are inquiring. Trump could participate if he wanted to, but he would have to answer questions under oath.

Actually we do know he is guilting of J6-related crimes based on his very public actions that day.
It's really interesting how when it involves Trump niceties like the presumption of innocence go right out the window. Do you even know that Trump knew what was in the boxes? He certainly didn't pack them?
J6 committee isn't a trial. The search warrant of Mara Lardo isn't a trial. Maybe take civics course at your local community college.

They did. Try to keep up, Skippy.

I challenge you to not mention Hillary's name for a period of 7 days. Do you accept or no?

I hope Sidney gets a very long prison sentence.

Georgia Opens Criminal Investigation Into Trump Campaign Stealing Voter Data

Trump attorney Sidney Powell helped coordinate the effort, and she was billed over $26,000 by computer experts from Atlanta tech company SullivanStrickler, the records show.

The GBI confirmed Tuesday that it has opened a criminal investigation of the incident on Jan. 7, 2021, when the group flew from Atlanta to South Georgia and were given access by local election officials to equipment that was supposed to be kept secure from outsiders. Computer theft is a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

The same team that was part of the voter data breach in Michigan and Nevada stole voter data in Coffee County, Georgia. The team was supervised by the Trump campaign, as Sidney Powell coordinated the effort to steal voter data as they were trying to prove voter and election fraud that would have provided Donald Trump with a pretext to carry out his coup and stay in power.

Trump is already looking at the possibility of being indicted in Georgia for election meddling. The theft of the voter data, and the nation should be honest by calling it theft, is a separate investigation.

It is possible that Trump could also be charged for stealing election data, although Sidney Powell is likely to be looking at criminal charges if the investigation uncovers wrongdoing.

Let's pretend you were found to be holding TS/SCI documents at your house. These are documents as highly classified as you can get. National defense secret type stuff. They are supposed to be viewed in a special facility to keep the information from leaking out. Stuff like this being leaked has resulted in those doing the leaking being executed (see the Rosenbergs).

Wouldn't you have been arrested if they found that stuff in your shed?

I am not talking about being sentenced without a trial. I am talking about being arrested.
Yes. I would most likely have been arrested. And correctly so.

There is a reason TFG wasn't arrested. I do not know that reason. Therefore, I can't begin to address whether I agree with the decision to not arrest him (yet).

FTR: I think he's guilty as hell. But I don't KNOW that. I do KNOW that there's more that I don't know than there is that I do know.

(Will someone please explain what my last sentence said? And while you're at it, what DOES diddy wah diddy mean? I'm all confused now. I need a nap.)

I can imagine quite a few documents that'll get anyone sent to prison for decades, or worse. What do you mean by the word 'documents'?
Maybe "record keeping" would have been better, as in possessing documents that he should not have had. If the documents prove a crime, then all bets are off.

Possessing national secrets in the fashion he did violate the clear laws regarding the handling of such sensitive information.

Lying to law enforcement (the DOJ) about having returned them is another crime. Or, do you think fraud is no longer criminal.
