I retired almost 15yrs ago, but in my day, we were required to know exactly where each document in a SCIF was located. Which safe/drawer etc. We kept what looked like recipe cards with one card for each document. We would self audit everything every six or 12 months where we verified that each document was where it was supposed to be. When the gov't types showed up, they would go to our recipe boxes and pull several cards from each one and say, find me these. One time during a self audit, we couldn't find a single document. This was a Yuge deal until it was found a day later. I assume the gov't follows similar procedures and knows EXACTLY what Trump stole and if it has all been returned at this point. If it was me in his position, they'd 'persuade' me to locate any missing documents and explain how each was handled during their vacation.

IIRC, it was the Muller report. He was happy with Barr's and Fox's explanation of its content. Didn't need to read it himself to know what was in it.

The real Dog (me) did not read the entire Mueller report, so you accused him (me) of having an aversion to reading. Later you said that he (me) admitted as much. He (me) never did, it was all just bullshit you made up.

He just claimed to have not read the Mueller Report so he could fain ignorance as to all the incriminating details. He completely ignores the second half of the report which concludes TFG obstructed justice. Anyone who has actually read the report knows TFG is a criminal.

These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General’s recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony.”

If President Biden did any of these actions described by Mr. Mueller, you'd call for his head on a pike.

Mr. Mueller did take care to say this about whether the defeated ex-President could be cleared of the allegations -

“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

It's not that they believed he did not obstruct justice (what you seem to think). It's that is was politically explosive to go down that road.

Mueller, however, refrained from recommending prosecution, saying that there were “difficult [legal] issues that would need to be resolved,” in order to reach a conclusion that the crime of obstruction of justice was committed by Trump.
