Ah, OK, got it. American legalese has always confounded me - I worked in a plain English jurisdiction and would never have been allowed to use such an artifice.

American legal profession has fought plain English to an uncomfortable stalemate. Government lawyers are supposed to use it pursuant to an Obama-era law, but they also have to manage litigation risk, and judges are all over the place. Everybody loves to have their own secret language.

I think Dearie knows the Trump team wants this to take forever. He doesn't.
Any other person on the planet would be explaining his possession of this many US Government owned documents more especially the classified ones, from a a jail cell.
They never were docs for a former to keep because they contained political dirt on his perceived enemies or that they had truely impressive information to show some cocktail guest you just know he'd like to hit.
More importantly they do not contain information that entitles the best businessman from New York to monetize and sell to an interested third party.
And yet here we are having Trumps lawyers saying there are so many documents to review, what the actual fuck?
Do they not state Property of the US Government and a classification status?
