Congratulations on breakthrough coverage of the event. You made this regatta exciting for people at home/work. You have set a new standard.

Keep going man!

Gotta love this one, from the official site:

LOOK BACK AND ENJOY THE NORTH AMERICANS MEDIA COVERAGE

November 2008

03 November 2008 - The North Americans may be over but there are plenty of ways you can look back on and enjoy the past week's fun and excitement in Annapolis. We had a host of media covering the event so follow the links below and check out some of the great coverage available online.

Justin Chisholm's live from the race course reports and numerous dockside and cockpit video interviews on the IMCA BLOG should be your first port of call. Right now Justin is posting some footage from the fantastic Stuart Simpson sponsored Team Barbarians final prize giving where much fun was had by all. Special thanks to Stuart for helping us to end the event in such style and to Jamie and the Pusser's Rum team who made sure the Pusser's Rum Painkillers just kept on coming to lubricate proceedings.

Alongside the video posted on the official IMCA BLOG you should also go to the IMCA's You Tube page at WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/IM24CA where both Justin and the USMCA's Joy Dunigan have been posting great additional footage.

Luca Bontempelli and the SAILREV.TV team were out on the water every day to bring us amazing racing footage as well as interviews with numerous competitors. Some of the comentary is in Italian but the footage is spectacular and well worth checking out regardless of whether you speak Italian or not.

We were also thrilled to have Chris Love of WWW.SAILGROOVE.ORG with us for the first time at a Melges 24 North American Championship. Chris brings us a great mix of photos and video from the event.

For still's photos check out IMCA Official Photographer Paul Todd's amazing images at WWW.MELGES24.COM

Other photographers who already have images from the event posted to their web sites for your delight and delectation are JH Peterson at WWW.WAVELENGTHSTUDIOS.COM and Jeremiah from Tim Wilkes' studio at WWW.TIMWILKES.COM.

And last but never by any means least we were really pleased to once again have Alan "Mr Clean" Block bringing us WWW.SAILINGANARCHY.COM'S unique, exciting and occasionally controversial coverage of the event. Alongside Alan's shoot from the hip commentary they've got tons of sailing video clips, sailor interviews and stills photos from Meredith Block and Sara Proctor.

Thanks to every one of the journalists and photographers that covered the event and helped us to spread the Melges 24 sailing word.

Please E-mail me at [email protected] if you have links to other online coverage, video or photo galleries you think we should be linked to.

Clean - nicely done. I cannot tell you how many people I ran into who said they are totally behind this week because of your reports. Good times!

Best,

DP
Thanks much, Dan.

Contest winners, sit tight.

This from the hotel in Virginia last night. If they were only His and Hers, rather than "Theirs and Theirs"...
