Finally, Trump is getting close to justice

But you have become a banana republic.
Corrupted courts, weak central government held hostage to big money. What else do you need?

Ah, a former president whipping up a coup and trying to overturn an election.

Tell me why I'm wrong.

Yes, I'm poking you with a pointy stick. :)
I won't argue with what you've pointed out is fucked up. But, shooting opponents, or ousted leaders, is a bridge too far.

Nope. Just, nope.

you are correct. there are many problems in the USA. shitstain did try to overturn an election, it didn't work. it looks like he may be held accountable for a few of his crimes soon. the American experiment is not dead, yet it is still an experiment. we currently have an adult in the white house, which is a good thing for us and the world.

Joking about assassination is not funny. I doubt any such thing on -this- forum will attract the FBI or the Treasury/Secret Service attention, but then again it might.

As for the US becoming a banana republic, yeah that happened with Bush II.

This is why I'll never be a liberal: I'm a pragmatist.

Consider T defeated FG. He's led a lifetime of affluence and getting great pussy which I perhaps envy but has gotten away with stealing and lying and cheating which I don't. 70 years of being a gigantic asshole and crook and nary a day in the clink.

Being held accountable financially on occasion doesn't matter all that much if you can afford it. 70 years of ... oh ... so ... constitutional American fair-as-fuck jurisprudence didn't affect him one bit as far as I can tell.

And all that before he managed to back into stealing the presidency in 2016, then committing countless actual crimes along the way to this very day, however difficult to prove.

The rest as they say is history. And we lived with the last 6+ years of history-defying eye-opening criminality and actual treasonous behavior that will forever be a stain on our country in the eyes of a world we used to lead in every imaginable way that counts. And maybe he gets taken down, or maybe he doesn't. Or gets indicted and strokes out. Doesn't really matter now. Nothing makes up for the actual harm he's done.

Liberalism [edited from liberals] allowed him to metastasize into this alien corrupt thing he is today. And, doubtless, liberals will read whatever he hurls out today on his private "free speechifying" bully pulpit and shake their collective heads with some "tsks tsks", and an "oh my."

Putin would have killed him with his bare hands.

Kim Jung-Un would have him fed to starving dogs in a re-education camp.

But sure BD, it's all about how well you sleep at night. Go with that.

I keep seeing comments in the media from the Faithful, saying "If they can do this to him, they can do it to you."

Bullshit. "They" can't.

Primarily because I make it a policy to NOT stick my dick a porn star while my 3rd wife is home recovering from popping out my 5th child and then paying hush money to keep it quiet.

But, that's me.

Where did that come from blue crab????
I snipped out his first five paragraphs and the remainder. If you click on the arrow, it takes you to BC's post, much of which I agree with. But this blaming liberals for Trump is like Bill Maher blaming Democrats for Santos; it's a bunch of nonsense.

Yeah me too. The Constitution was a wonderful thing for a long while but at some point we allowed the prohibition against self-incrimination, for one example, to run to its illogical extreme when it's allowed hundreds of times in a proceeding. That's a very liberal take on what was intended by the founders. Like TFG taking it 400 TIMES.

That was my intent. It goes to every time some dirtbag got off on a technicality. I should have been clearer that my anger was aimed at liberal jurisprudence and not the specific way Olsonist read it.

Margie Greene testified for 7+ hours and all the honest citizenry got was "I don't recall." It's obviously bullshit and ya gotta be a liberal to think that's OK. Legal? Maybe but that can and should change.

'He Betrayed Us': Why Trump's Call to Protest Is Flopping

“Why would I protest for a man that left the [Jan. 6 protesters] high and dry?” one user posted in a pro-Trump Telegram group. “Trump did nothing to help them after they stuck [their] neck out for him.”

“Has he called for protests about these poor guys? No. But he’s calling for us to protest about his arrest,” another person wrote. “It doesn’t sit right with me.” Another user agreed: “He’s right. Trump betrayed the J6 patriots. How can anybody still support [him]?”
