Earlier, he and his circle seemed to be using the court system primarily to control the news cycle and pander to the crowd. Winning or losing was less important than delay and showing the crowd that they were fighting the corrupt libs, and every loss just fed into the story that the courts are part of the corruption, further undermining our democratic institutions.
Now the stakes are high and he is suffering huge losses. It takes a lot for a judge to pierce privilege and it’s just about unheard of for an appellate panel to agree more or less instantaneously. May it continue.
