If they are still “only” investigating Trump, they shouldn’t be talking about it.

Or are they testing the waters to see if they can get away with not charging him with anything? Plenty of crimes and evidence in the public realm…..

They investigate from the bottom up, from the outer layers to the center. They can’t just throw trump in jail and go looking for evidence to support it. That kind of judicial efficiency is what non-MAGA could have enjoyed if the coup succeeded.
There is an aggressive Special Counsel going where the facts lead him.…including Congress.
