Finally, Trump is getting close to justice

Has there ever been an outcry from any actual donors to whatever pocket he eventually paid Ms. Stormy from, i.e., this outrageous, I'm shocked and want my money back, right now??
Take a look at how the Faithful in PA - vvv, Dog, and the rest. Given their loyal defense of the defeated ex-President, do you really think they will do anything but continue to swallow? They are in too deep to admit the've been duped.

Nothing burger!
The DA has made a fool out of himself !
Legal experts have said so , this is a shameful political theater and the DA is treading on thin ice pursuing this matter any further

It seemed farfetched when I first read it. That the Democrats deranged pursuit of Trump was really about making him a martyr, so he wins the Republican nomination and loses in the general. It doesn't seem so deranged or farfetched to me now.

You make a good point, however, I recall one of the witnesses who testified at the January Sixth committee hearings. He was a very blue collar guy, didn't seem very bright, and he admitted that he had been completely conned by Trump, went to the Capitol, got in trouble, lost his job, then his wife. He was open in his admission, and ashamed of what he had done, and ashamed of having been taken in by the likes of Trump.

Talk about someone who was "in too deep." Yet this guy could admit that he was stupidly conned, did stupid stuff, and paid the price.

He may have been sincere. He also could have been trying to minimize the damage. I have heard of some who expressed contrition, only to revert to form.

This is exactly what I'm talking about: "Democrats deranged pursuit of Trump." Really? Where do you get your information? Do you live on another planet? Can I sell you a bridge that connects Manhattan to Brooklyn?

Atlanta, New York, and Washington, DC. I hope they hit all at once.

Which is kind of my point, or if not a "point", then an indication, that while it's prosecutable in the abstract, i.e., "he's making (his usual) mockery of the political system and use of donor funds", the actual donors are having a brewski and chuckling about the whole thing, they expected no better of him, and at least his sins are colorful, they'll keep on donating when they feel like it.

And a county DA getting amped about it seven years down the road, is only giving Trump the stage where he can play the martyr's role, with the media seemingly incapable of brushing it off dismissively ("never wrestle with a pig, you'll get all muddy, and the pig likes it"), instead they give him the platform to keep playing the martyr and stir up the ever-smaller basket of deplorables.

We, and especially the Republican Party, need to move past Trump. Which won't ever happen if we keep rising to the near-empty-calorie bait. Let him die on the vine. Don't keep watering it, or digging it up and replanting it.

Prime example of the full-throated defense the defeated ex-President has enjoyed from the easily duped.
Hey! I have not enough information to form an opinion, but I am just a www ham an egger , not a NYC DA that has decided to rehash evidence that was rejected by the US Justice Department….
waiting for something substantially new
The DA is not only making a fool out of himself he is treading on judicial liability and censure

Where is the evidence that this was donor funds? The checks he wrote to Cohen were not from the campaign or the PAC.
