Indictments won’t do it. They will galvanize the people who think that democRATS are running a child sex racket out of the basement of a DC pizza joint (which lacks a basement). The people who think that democrATS are pedos will get Him through the primaries, with help from those who don’t believe the pedo craziness but are aghast that a Republicans could ever be charged with his crimes.
And a campaign run out of a jail would appeal to Trump's TV reality show drama and Fox will give him prime time.

This is America and Trump has money, At most, he’ll get an ankle bracelet and be told campaign activity is allowable work related travel.

Trump would have been better off robbing Stormy with a gun — Bragg would have thrown that case out

No, just acknowledgement of our two tier Justice system. If he was poor he’d spend the entire pre trial time in prison, as a flight risk unable to afford the excessive bail.

If he was poor, and NOT the former POTUS, he would have been locked up long, long ago......

People say we can't bring him to justice because it will cause more violence from his supporters??
Let it, I say; and lock them all up with the January 6th "choir boyz"!!!

If he hadn’t stepped into politics he’d be fine. Being elected to either side would have resulted in prosecutors of the opposite side finally taking off their blinders and noticing all of his crimes. Pre politics, he was just another exempt business man.

Then, after he abandoned his exempt status he managed to break those loophole riddled rules in our money is speech campaign system. To make things worse, he tried to bully the ethical republican in Georgia, who amazingly stood his legal ground.

So the polling coming out now says that the indictment has made Trump, already the most popular Republican primary candidate by far, even more popular. This popularity has nothing to do with Hillary or Biden or events or policies. It's just that Trump is their boy, their id, and he gives them what they want, own the libs entertainment. Again, he lets them come out of the closet and be who they really are. None of this dull facty fact policy drudge work. Boring. He lets them let their freak fascist flag fly.

I don't think Republicans now are any different than they were in 2016. They are the same people. They have learned nothing. Their decision making is the same.

Now, their rationalizations? Those vary over time. In the 50s it was Communists! and now they love Putin. Hillary in 2016 was just a rationalization at the time for the deplorables doing what they wanted to do anyways. Seriously, these people are bonkers gun obsessed nutjobs with victim complexes who wouldn't even take a jab in the arm to save their lives.

They're just nuts. This is the populism the founders were worried about.
Fake news this morning is the Trump campaign has already taken in $4mil in the 24 hours since he was indicted.
