A very good site for lonely women to meet their 'perfect captain". Please take a look at https://www.seacaptaindate.com/
Touching candor? I think there is some fibbing about ages. Plan to ask the boy toy what kind of boat dad has and if dad wants to come along.

Or have a good knife and can of mace, and know how to use them.
If one uses the knife best one knows how to sail that boat. Or use radio.

There may be, but that's not the issue: Whose laws determine whether those 'unspoken' rules are illegal: The port of departure, the port of entry, the home port, or the country of the crew's citizenship?

The reality is that "unspoken rules" are undisclosed and therefore invalid, because the entire concept of unspoken rules is bullshit. Whose 'unspoken' rules are in effect: the Florida skipper or the Guatemalan crew? What part of florida is the skipper from?
You are conflating social norms with laws. It is illegal to rape people in almost any country.

The silly mercenary dude just got embarrassed his date wasn't one and left. This also speaks to the safety of groups. A crew that included a child/niece and a wife is not very likely to put up with sexual assaults going on. That story could have possibly had a very different outcome if it was just the two of them. Do note this guys actual job was killing people too.

Wrong. I am pointing out that 'unspoken rules' and 'unwritten laws' are a fantasy generally concocted by people with power in order to exert such power over others. The reason we don't use social norms for legal purposes is because they differ from household to household, neighborhood to neighborhood, town to town, city to city, state to state, etc.

Disagree.
When I asked my wife out for our first date, I said something like "Want to get dinner and see a movie", not "And I am a single hetero male looking for a mate and will probably attempt to kiss you at some point if the evenning goes well and it is possible that you might like it and then I may call you again for another date". All of life isn't a legal contract, most single women understand they are being asked out for a date, not to do a random survey of restaurants and theaters

This sultry beauty just adverted her desire to share the wild and wooly ocean with her. Which among you seniors would seriously turn her down cuz your conscience was bothering you?

Well, not being of a certain religion that wants 37 virgins, I find myself more attracted to one experienced slut. Yes, combining the two is a redundancy.

On your first date did you bring her straight to your room and show her which side of the bed was hers?

"always pull on a foulie bib when you cook underway, you're a long way from the nearest burn hospital." was taught to me years ago by a neighbor who's a pretty serious offshore racer. I thought it was good advice. He's about 80 now and still at it.
Thanks, would have never thought about doing that.

I would imagine a well placed marlin spike would discourage such behavior.
I unexpectedly found myself single about 10 years ago and have had the pleasure to take females sailing on the rare occasion. I usually encourage them to bring a friend if it is a newer relationship. I start with a dock boat tour and "safety briefing" and always point out the accessible rigging knife "in case there is some stabbing or cutting to be done".

that seems asinine to me, but its 80+ degrees Fahrenheit most days where i sail...
I use a pressure cooker offshore in rough weather. I don't usually have the pressure valve on, but the top stays attached. If the thing flies off the stove at me, I get hit by a metal pot, not a gallon of hot water. Being hundreds of miles from a hospital makes you think about shit ;)
