Hell, when we were grotty teenagers nothing would be finer than a Friday night of watching Science Fiction Theatre, when the folks were out partying it up, and when the really bad ideas came out, we'd spoon the shit straight out of the box followed by a straight shot of Jiffy Whip. That is if somebodies big brother hadn't vacuumed all the gas out of the can cuz somebody told him you could get a buzz resembling Purple Microdot if you did.
On occasion someone's Mom would have the Sheriff brand with the little magic "flavour bud" which was tantamount to finding a gram of hash amoungst your seeds & stems and we'd have to arm wrestle for it. Clean up sometimes involved snorting the stuff on the coffee table up through a spent Pixie Styx. However that quite often ended badly as it had a habit of inducing a technicolour sneeze which, needles to say, was never very pretty.
So yes, it was all good - all red!

I'm surprised I never added my favorite Tina Louise/Ginger story here.
A friend of mine worked at a local hotel in Niagara Falls back in the day. As luck would have it he delivered room service to Tina's room one evening. Apparently she was undressed when he knocked so she came to the door holding a towel in front of her for modesty. He said what she forgot was that there was a full length mirror on the wall directly behind her. That was way before she ever needed to consider plastic surgery. He said it was the best room service gratuity he ever got. Just thought I'd share.
