Fantastic tri... looking at it - the beams seems slender... and the discussion before in this tread had a not sceptics about them not being one hole structure etc. Bute they seem to hold very well...?

What are the two mast guys doing in this foto? Trying to pull the c-bd up?
Jumping the halyard for the sail (screacher?) tacked to the bowsprit

Correct.
It's very heavy to hoist and worse in 20 knots when its full of water from sitting on the tramp on the upwind leg. We also need 2 on the halyard when hoisting the asym for the W/L races if we hoist it late and/or it's blowing.
The asym enables us to runner deeper than the screecher when the breeze is under 15 to 20 for W/L races and long downwind legs and paid off for the run from Cape Spencer in tracker link below.

Race outline
The 5 x TC52's started 15 mins behind and us had us on the upwind leg in the lighter 10 to 12kn breeze. Once we found more pressure we got the jump on them, before squirting off on a reach across the foot sitting on 20kn's (15 to 25 knots of breeze) for a few hours in the dark with confused seas (fast, wet and fun) before turning the 2nd corner and ran downwind under the asym with a cross swell and fading breeze that dropped out from a nice 15kn to only 2kn near the finish line.

Tracker link of the race below.
