Can't really go wrong with a name like that now can you. All,
There is a regatta on the "Southern" part of the Gulf on the 12th and 13th of August that you may not be aware of. Out of Portsmouth, NH/Kittery ME the Piscataqua Sailing Association (PSA) is hosting its annual "SMUTTYNOSE REGATTA" which is a J/105 fleet 2 event and will have 17 confirmed on the line. There is also a great PHRF fleet that will draw from Marblehead and Boston as well as Maine. If you've never been down for that, please think about it.
See www.sailpsa.org for more information on this.

Wow... at least they didn't do the customary turning the fan off at 1800 like what usually happens every Wednesday and Thursday evening. I glanced at the buoy reports last night and noticed the spike in velocity but didn't note the time. Highly unusual.WTF!
PYC Thursday night race.
Where did that front come from?
6 knots at 5:30, 20 + knots during the race and no wind shortly after the finish
Shifty 20knot Northerlies...
(At least our keel did not fall off and we did not continue with our 2006 Gulf of Maine Ledge Tour.)
Nice ride...
Beer gone prior to start...
Thanks to ReggieBear for coming out and being abused with mainsail trim!![]()
PK and Soggy straight ROCKING the first day of the Pilot race..... Strong Work.Reggie Bear said:Now i know that i need pics to prove that things happen around here, but i have no camera. DAMN!!! My fault. Should be Dick Hale. It was late. Sorry! I'll try to fix that, thanks for catching it.Who's Ed Hale? and why was he sailing with us?
