Whiplash and Tom Hall made out like crazy... Winning A and B... Decent breeze and very little rain. The Ocho would have enjoyed the conditions... Lots of beer on Wiley and I think we made a respectable showing, coming in after Merle and just ahead of Revo^2. HYC throws a good party too. There was some sort of yellow rice thing with sausage, chicken, and shrimp that was to die for, as well as beer and chips... All up, a very nice day of racing.

Good showing by HYC. Thank you, guys!

Assunta DFL'd by a smaller margin than usual... :D A good day sailing in any event. And, no ledge tours that I know of

Weather was way better than what was forecast, and the RC had the foresight to use the short course, which worked out well as it got a little light at times.

Sshow definitely had that Pearson going better Saturday. We were watching him all day.

You dudes who skipped out early missed the pizza that came compliments of Stickboy! But that's okay, just leaves more of that and beer for the skippers/crews of Assunta and Rita P. We managed to polish it all off by around 9 p.m. If you can't win the race, win the party, right?

I don't have the times, but here are the results.

Please help me. I would like to purchase one of those utra-swank REVO OCHO workshirts. You know... the short sleeve button up with the mechanic style patches. Those are hella cool and I want one ASAP. I will pay $$$. This is not a hoax. Please help me. Perhaps this would require contacting Les Monsieurs Marchants?

OK. The one I THOUGHT I saw was on Gerry at the Centerboard regatta - but I could be mistaken. I recall making a verbal comment to him in admiration of the cool threads - but then again, my short term memory is not like it was........last week?

If Maxluff or anyone can confirm the existence of said shirts or their availability, please email:

[email protected]

Thank you.

In addition to paying $$ for the shirt, I also have an ice cold rack of Hienekens I'm not doing anything with......

First, nope. Just had the super cool jacket on, no shirt. In the future, I will try not to be so damn good-looking, so as not to blind you with my awesomenesses. Second, I am SO calling shenanigans on you having EXTRA beer...

Yes, Indeed our stylish crew gear, aka Ronstan Lightweight Inshore jackets do have the forementioned 'El Ocho' gas attendent style patch. I understand your confusion as G was looking so sexy that afternoon.

Unfortunately at this time we do not have the button down black DICKIES shirts.

Perhaps if everyone throws down $ I will arrange for my East LA contacts to produce more custom 'El Ocho' patches to be placed on black button down Dickies shirts. My cost would of about $30.00 for a quantity of six...

Maybe we feel that we have nothing that we could possibly add to such witty and intellegent banter that goes on on this site! Hey Alteredst88, had that baby yet?
Brilliant banter, our banter is Brilliant!
