Kind of like all of the alcoholic concoctions that end with 'tini'. There is only ONE genuine Martini and it better have gin in it. London dry gin.
I dointe drick martinis offen, butte when I do, it hasse to halve gin an olives in it.

I halve tacken a lickeng to New Amersdam

I figgiurred you new that and I diddent haive to saye it..... :)
When I started college, I was 22 years old, I graduated when I was 27 (that's another story). Back then that was unusual to start that late. I used to go to the local Holiday Inn with a couple of professor friends of mine for lunch. After a few visits, when the waitress would bring our Martinis, she would bring a rocks glass full of olives automatically. This was in addition to the max number of olives you could cram on to one of those little sword thingies that was in the drink glass. I like a little gin with my olives.

I grew up in nearby Wethersfield until age eleven, a long time ago! West Hartford and other Hartford environs offer a lot of nice housing and sailing is not too far to the south. As others have mentioned there is spring and fall Frostbite racing in Essex, including Etchells, Ideal 18's, JY15's and Lasers. I am no longer familiar with western LIS, but most agree the breeze in summer is much better to the east. ECSA runs races there, and local clubs have other racing opportunities as well.

That green shit doesn't look like juniper!

For a Martini I prefer a traditional gin like Beefeaters. For a gin and tonic I like the botanical blend in Bombay Sapphire.
this puts Saphire to shame..............

and this is thre second best gin

Double fail! Made in Spain, and incudes the word Gastronomic. They probably distill all of the rioja that didn't make it to market to produce the alcohol for it.

Don't tell me, you think kale on pizza is good too.

To think, I used to respect you. :ROFLMAO:

I had to check the calendar. If this was 2 months from now, it would make some sense, but..... Front page of the NYT and an article on "gourmet frozen pizza"?!
