The bar down the end of that beach is a perfect spot to watch the planes come in. Last time I was there, I took the tender out just off that beach directly under the jets landing........pretty fucking cool to watch them come in.

Ha! It is the bar that most of the sailors will frequent--it has a pool and on one side you can swim up and drink--last year crashtestdummy and a few other Anarchists were on thet side of the bar fully dressed in the water shoes and all--WTF??? "we were hot"!!
I wish, but plenty of other events on the calendar.....have to work sometime! I think crashtestdopey isn't going either......he's going to Machu Pechu with his future wife!
I told Espo I would be game to put together a charter for next year's heineken consisting of both of our crews?
Jimbos is awesome. When we were there in '06 Crashtestdopey had a wad of "Jimbo dollars" that would choke a dinosaur. (he had been there all winter and accumulated them)
We drank daily for free. (at least free for me)

I'm definitely up for that--I'm racing on a Skye 51 (cruiser racer) that will probably be available next year--I will talk to the guy running the boat--see what's involved. I almost chartered a Bene 40.7 this year--but my buddy had to bail out at the last minute--I will talk to you about cost when I get back--great idea !!
