How about Red Tide, perhaps in another language
Nice ride.It looks like I am going to end up buying the Concordia 47. (Farr-designed, Carroll-built racer-cruiser which supposedly has a PHRF of -12).
The current name is not bad but I haven't really warmed up to it. What do you think of these names (note that the boat is red)
Let the mockery begin. I may in the end choose to keep the original name which I am purposely not sharing.
Cherry Bomb is pretty cool.Nice ride.
I always prefer names that can be easily understood on the radio.
Rosebud? (Citizen Kane reference)
The boat has already been surveyed. All contingencies have been released.Red Feather.
Get a good surveyor that understands the boat and the method of construction.
Red Rover Red Rover…
If you have to explain it, it probably isn't a good choice.View attachment 546591
In the spirit of the 1992 Americas Cup winner - America3 (pronounced "America cubed" - duh).
And when you re-christen the boat use this for a toast.....Roxanne
Nice boat BTW
Like custom license plates. If you have to explain it, it probably isn't a good choice.
Yeah. It is a documented vessel. As far as paperwork goes, I have to submit the new name tomorrow. There is also a lot of tradition around name changes. That will have to wait a few weeks. But the paperwork needs to go forward now.you do realise that there is a formal procedure for renaming a vessel ?
