Starboard!
Just past Oyster Bay on the way to Northport, inside Huntington  Bay and then at the mooring.

It was a bit swelly the next day as you can tell by the clouds...

It’s 8:10 pm, Saturday evening on the coast of Maine.

Dinner is done(for just one tonight, easy), the dishes are put away.

I have a recommendation:

Birch, well dried and with some bark still on to dazzle the cabin with light, is a very good hardwood for a small fireplace on an old boat.

OK, I am calling out Kris Cringle as a low down, filthy liar.  There is no way he has a boat that nice in such an incredible location.  He is just an internet troll.

Of course, should I be proven wrong, by, I don't know, sailing around with him for the rest of the fall, I would be happy to tender the most abject apology.

He's no liar but he is a horrible troll, making the rest of us feel totally inadequate in our choice of boats, our maintenance habits and our sailing venues. ;)

@Kris Cringle I'm comin' for you, buddy.  July '21.

Prior to the recent day of fog, we had this evening light courtesy of the Calilfornia wildfire smoke coming back in off the Pacific. It's been a very different year all round.
