Few candidates have gotten as much help on air and off as Senate nominee Walker, a first-time political contender known for his bizarre comments.
When Herschel Walker participates in nationally televised interviews, he’s often joined by one or two Republican senators who get as much ― and occasionally even more ― speaking time as the candidate who’s actually running for the U.S. Senate in Georgia.
Sometimes it seems like Walker can barely get a word in as loquacious GOP senators like Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Ted Cruz (Texas) and Rick Scott (Fla.) dominate the interview, which is almost always conducted by friendly hosts on Fox News, about the latest in the Georgia Senate race, which is facing a Tuesday runoff.
“In the closing days of his campaign, Herschel Walker still refuses to answer Georgians’ questions about his pattern of lies and violent conduct, instead relying on the likes of Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz to do the talking for him,” said Dan Gottlieb, a spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Georgia. “Walker has proven again and again that he is not fit to serve Georgia in the U.S. Senate.”

To be perfectly frank (As opposed to Frank), I don't think that participating/working members of the clergy, of any religion should be serving in the US Govt. Separation of church and state, and all that. ON THE OTHER HAND..... I don't see that it would be fair to deny a religious person the right to serve.
It's a dichotomy that I think the founders didn't fully consider.
Essentially all politicians should be atheists. But by declaring atheism, they are in essence declaring a stance on religion....
JFK may have been one of the first BIG tests, although lower electees certainly came before him.

When someone asks me which religion / church I attend, I simply say I haven't decided, because none of them have given me a logical and evidence based reasoning their religion is correct.
If I chose to be a politician, my response would be there are many brands of religion, each with their own variations and different interpretations..
The only way to respect each individuals right to religious freedom is to respect each religion equally, and not favor any religion over another.
Therefore it is anti religious freedom and not the place of government to create laws that are based on the beliefs of a single religion, and impose those beliefs on people of different faith (or no faith at all).

For the most part I don’t go around announcing when I put someone on ignore it usually is because their only goal is to attack me personally. Even then I overlook it if they actually contribute at times, REGARDLESS of their views. I did make one exception to Razer when he repeatedly called me a fascist.
I do like the way the new board works, other issues not so much.

According to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a Georgia conservative talk show host has been accused by the state of voting illegally nine times while he was still serving out a felony conviction for forgery and theft in Pennsylvania.
Brian K. Pritchard, a prominent conservative voice in North Georgia, is currently running for an open seat in the state legislature where he hopes to face the widow of former Speaker David Ralston who died last month.
However, his campaign is now faced by accusations from the Georgia attorney general's office stating Pritchard broke state law each time he voted before his sentence was completed.
According to the report, Pritchard who has used his platform to complain about election fraud, "allegedly voted illegally nine times while serving a felony sentence in a $33,000 forgery and theft case."
