Scary that it was that close, yet it is progress.
I would guess that most if not the vast majority of Walker voters are Christian. What bible thumper would vote for Herschel Walker? His life bears no resemblance to anything Christ would have given the nod to. But...whatever. Warnock won. Be happy.
It's the whole born again deal. What bible thumper would vote for Herschel Walker? His life bears no resemblance to anything Christ would have given the nod to. But...whatever. Warnock won. Be happy.
Christofascists, racists and rednecks with a cross hanging from their mud machine rear viewWhat bible thumper would vote for Herschel Walker? His life bears no resemblance to anything Christ would have given the nod to. But...whatever. Warnock won. Be happy.

“Walker spent the day making one final push, which is unusual for him,” the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host said. “Usually, during the final push, he’s miles away from the hospital at a Waffle House telling a waitress she could be the one.”
He also joked that Walker, who campaigned as a staunchly anti-abortion candidate and presented himself as a family man, was “Planned Parenthood’s customer of the year.”

Christian Walker, Herschel Walker’s son, delivered a bone-crunching hit on his father’s football-to-politics career Tuesday after the elder Walker lost his Georgia Senate runoff to incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock.
“Don’t beat women, hold guns to people’s heads, fund abortions then pretend you’re pro-life, stalk cheerleaders, leave your multiple minor children alone to chase more fame, lie, lie, lie, say stupid crap, and make a fool of your family,” he wrote. “And then maybe you can win a Senate seat.”
Christian Walker, a conservative, blasted Republicans for choosing his father to vie for high office.
“We say we don’t play ‘identity politics’ and then you ran this man mainly because he was the same skin color as his opponent with no background other than football,” the son wrote. “A boring old Republican could have won.”
From their point of view it's either vote for Walker(s) of get the gay agenda rammed, crammed and slammed down their throats, probably in FEMA death camps. I'd vote for him too if I believed that was in store for me...48% of Georgia voted for a guy who doesn't even live in Georgia and can't form a complete sentence. That race should have been 70% Warnock, 30% Walker.
But ...thank heaven for small favors.
Walker v Cruz? Damn , that’s a hard one to sort out.Gawd save us all in Tx.
I would bet that they claim to be Christian. But that doesn't make them Christian, any more than my claiming to be a Buddhist monk makes me one.I would guess that most if not the vast majority of Walker voters are Christian.

I gotta say if someone "claims" to be Christian, I take their word for it. Who am I to say they are or are not? Now, if they claim to be an accountant, I can check on that, but an adherent of any religion? Kinda up to them, no?I would bet that they claim to be Christian. I gotta say that if someone claims to be my brother, I do not take their word at it. Who am I to say they are not? I am my mother's only son. If you tell me that you're my stepbrother, I might have pause for consideration.... And ask for some sort of proof.I gotta say if someone "claims" to be Christian, I take their word for it. Being your brother is a testable hypothesis. Being a "Christian" is not. I'm pretty sure very few professed Christians meet your definition. You're going down the "no true scotsman" path.I gotta say that if someone claims to be my brother, I do not take their word at it. Who am I to say they are not? I am my mother's only son. If you tell me that you're my stepbrother, I might have pause for consideration.... And ask for some sort of proof.
But if you claim to be a Christian, and act in ways that are completely contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ, I will tell you to your face, that you are not a Christian.
A red state now ...
