Add the Expedition to that list, especially the EL. Swallows a stack of 4x8 sheets of plywood or drywall etc etc.I've carried lumber and plywood and drywall in my full sized truck and in a couple of different minivans, including my current one.
The van is not "just like a truck." My shit stays DRY inside my van. Even when I had the topper on the bed, the same could not be said of things left in the bed of my truck.
I'm going to see the old white truck this morning because I'm taking the minivan in to the mechanic who bought the truck from me. I don't really miss it.
Italian minivan? That's a lot for tires.
I used to get under the big white truck and change the oil. I don't remember what it cost. Not much. I took the new van for an oil change today.
About $800 later, I have a new accessory battery (these things have two batteries), new cabin air filter, and various changed and topped fluids and filters. I just wanted an oil change! What I get for buying an Italian vehicle, I guess.
It's a Chrysler Pacifica. Chrysler is owned by Fiat Group.Italian minivan?
Gotcha. Thanks. It's a Chrysler Pacifica. Chrysler is owned by Fiat Group.
It's built in Canada.
I refused to look at American cars due to lingering bigotry from back when they sucked. I had a deal on a Honda Odyssey. I was DONE shopping. Then my wife continued shopping and found that the Pacifica seats all fold into the floor. I reluctantly went to the dealership with my tape measure, made the salesman fold them all down, then measured. Four by eight. SOLD!

2nd row in the Odyssey is removable, same as my old Sienna (or a new Sienna).Gotcha. Thanks.
My BIL has an Odyssey, and I know the 3rd row folds into the floor. Maybe not the second row?
Hah! No, just a "while you're at it" thing.I am disappointed in you Tom!! You are a DIY guy, and the cabin air filters are usually childsplay to install, same with topping off fluids. I suspect it was a comely Italian female in a tight top and short skirt at the Stealership that cajoled you into dropping 8 Benjamins, am I right?![]()
....... Watching him try to figure it out, I knew for sure I would never, ever work on this car.
LOL, I haven't heard that before, but appropriate, nevertheless. I've been a victim before too.Stealership
They do use representative engines.Meanwhile NASCAR "stock" cars
They do use representative engines.
Ferd, Chebby, and Tayoter, obviously Race Prepped
obvious randum "fishin'
Yeah, I've gotten over my anti-American car bigotry. Even if it is Italian. Or Canadian. Or whatever. I like it.As far as minivans go, the Pacifica is one of the better.
Didn't Toyota have to come up with a "special" engine to meet the NASCAR specs? It was a long time ago but I remember listening to a radio program, on the way back from Talladega International GP for a motorcycle race, that said NASCAR requires pushrod engines and Toyota's production v-8's are overhead cam. They do use representative engines.
