Horse paste you say?

You can steel man his argument if you want. He hasn't been convicted of any pervert crimes. As far as I know.
Had not heard the term. Thanks for that.
His stance isn't in a vacuum though. Under his tenure, Twitter apparently had a big problem with pictures of child abuse. After he left, it was magically cleaned up in days.

Being a pervert or a pervert ally seems to be almost a job requirement in a lot of media positions.
Sophisticated analysis. That's good. However, 'apparently' and 'seems' do too much work there.

I certainly hope that whatever problem Twitter had regarding child abuse is well and truly eliminated.

Which organized religions acknowledge their magic books are mythological and/or allegorical fiction?

It's not belief in a higher power that makes you morons. It's your belief that written mythological creatures and events actually happened, and that mythological creatures actually exist and control everything.

The fact that there are many, many smart people who do and say very, very stupid shit is quite well documented, as I'm sure you know.

Your superiority complex is very interesting. Your intolerance for others ideas shows a lack of intelligence, despite your cover of a commodious vocabulary.

Clean - let's rewind. You're a smart guy who understand logic, right?

- you started by disparaging people who believe in a God(s) as 'morons'
- I pointed out some demonstrable clever people who believed in (a) God. (to be fair, I agree clever people can be moronic)
- you then segued into 'written mythological creatures and events' and 'written doctrine of the sky fairy organizations'

Belief in a higher power or gods is not the exclusive domain of organised religion.

A study in a harbour near me found that ivermectin at the dosage of 10ml per litre of paint is affective at keeping barnacles away from your bottom …don’t drink it , apply it to your hull .
Hmm, what a great idea. Probably works better than the cayenne pepper I have been using all these years!

An official study? Not that you post is relevant to the discussion.

Totally unofficial and against local laws but it works because …

Abstract : The toxicity of ivermectin was investigated in 11 species of marine invertebrates, most of which were collected from 3 coastal sites in Norfolk, UK. Ivermectin was found to be extremely toxic to a wide range of invertebrates. Furthermore, it was observed to have significant sublethal effects of ecological significance at concentrations much lower than the LC50 for the same organisms.

You make a number of assumptions that of course make the rest of your argument unsupportable.

Inaccurate. You brought up the word "God". I disparaged people who believe in sky fairies, which is the general phrase I use for invisible creatures in the sky whose existence has never been proven by credible evidence in 10,000 years of writing. Contrast 'sky fairies' to 'ghosts', which are like sky fairies, but in peoples' houses and old abandoned buildings, and aliens, which we can call 'space fairies' if you want. Only one of the above things is likely real, and it ain't elijah, jesus, or muhammed.
- I pointed out some demonstrable clever people who believed in (a) God. (to be fair, I agree clever people can be moronic)
As I pointed out, that's just a straight appeal to authority, which doesn't deserve a reply.
- you then segued into 'written mythological creatures and events' and 'written doctrine of the sky fairy organizations'
sky fairies was the subject. no segue necessary.

I have no issue with anyone's private beliefs. I may think it makes someone stupid, but half the people you meet have an IQ under 100, so there should be nothing particularly controversial about that. I believe organized religions are always a fraud and nearly always a societal cancer.

Well that harbour just might be roughly 100km north of you and well , ivermectin
Never been to Norfolk, UK.

So your contribution to the discussion is that it helps as an antifoul on your hull.

Which makes this very cheap and effective essential medicine even more incredible.

Although I think the fact that it has improved and saved the lives of 100's of millions of people both directly and indirectly is far more incredible than your hull. Indirectly by improving the health of their livestock and their primary food source.

I guess that's why the scientists that discovered it were awarded the Nobel Prize.

As an anti-parasite to be accurate. Lord Fauci deliberately maligning it by labelling it a horse wormer typifies his approach to the pandemic.
Yes, those worms are parasites. When Dr. Fauci referred to people taking horse dewormer, he was very directly talking about people buying and taking ivermectin paste sold very specifically as horse dewormer from their local horse and cattle feed stores.

BTW, why are we even talking about an anti-parasitic that isn't effective for Covid in a Covid discussion anarchy forum? Like you say, it's great stuff. Just useless for Covid.

All is relative. Ivermectin is probably more effective against covid than rolling yourself with antifouling bottom paint.

I am not so sure about that. Did the bottom paint on my boat two weeks before everything shut down and managed not to get covid for over a year afterwards. It might have been bottom paint that protected me 😁
