so now the story is that the "unaltered" drive from the laptop was copied and then the laptop was given to the fbi and the drive that isaacs said he protected was copied, apparently repeatedly.

That's all there is.
The hard drive on which he is basing all of his accusations, however, is an evidentiary mess that has been altered from the one given to the FBI in unknown ways by multiple persons. Mr Isaacs was furious with the changes that may have been made to the hard drive, and the WaPo concluded it was worthless as evidence.
That's the bullshit evidence @Dog 2.0 is using to base allegations against our president.

This seems like a good spot to point out that Dog is not an evil person, I put him on ignore since he has drank the koolaid to the point where nothing will ever convince him that Foxshit isn't truth. JT is someone who lacks Dog's character and uses any method to attack anyone who disagrees with him. I could still have a beer with Dog and can respect his principles even though they are so wrong. I know Dogs in real life, they aren't bad people if you leave out their part in destroying democracy. So I just choose to ignore him since nothing will ever change him. When I left $cientology it was really hard as all my friends were there so I had to reach down and understand how I was fooled and how people I truly cared for as being sincere and kind folk would never change.
I chanted Oh wha ti goos iam. It made me feel better. It took some time to shake away the conditioning but that lesson has served me well ever since.

It's not that complicated to indoctrinate people but very hard to undo it. The group think/relationship is extremely important - it's why the true cults live in compounds. The true believers are the most dangerous as many are willing to die for their beliefs.
Lots of truth in what you wrote Steam. For some it's easier to hate than change, I really thought that Trumps followers would rise and disavow him and demand he be held responsible. Your post helps explain why so many still hold to Trump, and if not him DeSantis because he also wants to hurt the same people.
