I think where the republicans are missing the ball here is that they think that accepting millions of dollars from foreign entities using your family connections, then kicking 10% of it back to the "big guy" who might just be the Vice President of the United States, is wrong.
What they fail to understand is that the dems have no problem with this type of thing. Just a different mindset, business as usual.

The laptop issue is not about the creepy Biden family
it’s about how big tech , the media and the deep state squashed the story to avoid losing the last election

That was sarcasm. The point being Hunter does not hold office and does not influence government policy, so I, like many others, have zero fucks to give if he did some allegedly sketchy shit. The Right is trying to make Hunter another boggy-man, like countless others, to distract from their usual lack of integrity, leadership, and competency. They have no interest in governance or the rule of law or advancing our society in any meaningful way.
