Its a bit more complicated than that. For example there are production arbitrages involved and forward planning, capital allocation , etc. Most Dems think crude oil is drilled out from underneath their corner Chevron station.
Most do not think that. We know it takes a long time to develop that resource which is why Republican sounds silly when they state that if Biden would issue more permits we would have gas prices drop very quickly

This part is true.

And yes, it did have an affect of crude prices... broke the upward slope. But that's a math thing, how could you and your elk possibly understand.

This part, and everything that followed, is just a fucking lie. Total fiction, deliberately crafted to mislead and cause harm to USAnians (including Republicans).

Why do you hate America?
Why do you lie? Dont you not believe your own government? You people are so fucking tedious.

We were in Watkins Glen this Summer and there was a Sinclair station right at the park entrance. I told the family about having those dino-shaped soaps from Sinclair, back in the day. They didn't believe me, nor did the kid working the register at the station.

Turns out, they are available online. Screw the prices, though.

I had one of those inflatable Sinclair dinosaurs. Don't recall what happened to it, not gonna look if they're available.

The only thing I'm nostalgic for, from that era, are Sugar Daddy lollipops. Fuck having a caramel center, the whole thing was caramel! And for a nice tie-in to the post above, for a while they came with Dinosaur Trading Cards

By the time this story ends up being covered by reputable sources, it will no longer be sensational!

All the wild assumptions will be presented with caveats, coincidences put in context, and only reputable sources quoted … where is the fun in that?

You can’t expect @Dog 2.0 & his ilk to support legit journalism, that’s contrary to GOP doctrine of supporting alternative facts.
Already happened.

If you are the self proclaimed petroleum expert around here (oh.. BTW.. you are not) , I suggest you could learn some on the subject from energy experts like AOC

Wanted one of those blow up dinosaurs bad. They usually had a bunch of them strung up across the parking lot. Dad would never stop at Sinclair because he hated me. Or maybe he because he had a Shell card.

I remember having the Sinclair dino but don't remember how I got it, probably my grandmother bought it for me. I can't imagine either of my parents buying such a frivolous thing.

It really sounds alien, doesn't it, that gas stations used to encourage people by having cool kids toys, and giving away stuff. I had Tony The Tiger (the gasoline, not the breakfast cereal) kitchen ware for years but my wife hated it.

I remember a certain service station that gave away flatware and aluminum glasses and pitchers. Some of them are still around, kind of like our trolls - not good for anything but can't get rid of them. Hi JT!
