It shouldn't surprise you to learn that I don't know the content of the "highly sensitive documents" but Tom Cotton offered them as precedent so there is that. The point is moot anyway, the University of Delaware documents are not the subject of a current investigation.

I would imagine if these "highly sensitive documents" were actually evidence provided by the DOJ before an investigation is complete, the author would say so. If that were the situation, it would actually bolster his argument. That he didn't seems rather indicative, assuming one can try to put aside partisan cheerleading.
