Meli if you were 20 something and didn't have the experience of someone who has experienced the variable cycles in Federal and State politics I'd give you a pass, but you're not.
Granted the Libs haven't learnt their lesson yet, but they will and then the pendulum will swing. Always has, always will.

The Liberal Party is a relative newcomer in the game. Their continuance is not assured.
As it is, they have only won in coalition since 1923, other conservative parties have disappeared. DLP, The Protectionist Party, the Free Trade party, the democrats..etc
The Labor party is the oldest continuing party in Australia. Why? because they are progressive.
