I still can't understand why working class people think that the republicans are on their side. Tax cuts/dodges for millionaires/billionaires does not, no how, no way benefit any working class family.
Slashing environmental funds is not helping working class families. Cutting school meal programs doesn't help working families. opposing clean energy projects does not help poor people. Cutting medicaid/medicare doesn't help anyone except pharmaceutical companies, giant "health care" companies, private for profit hospitals, lawyers, and funeral homes.

Because those evil socialist Democrats are trying to turn your children gay

It's not that complicated: Half of people have an IQ < 100, and more than half have been groomed from a young age to believe in fairies and angels and demons in the sky. They've literally been prepping these people for 2000 years to believe their bullshit.
and those >100 especially if they were born after 1969, the zenith of humankind, have been prepped with , bad man , anti America , fake news and revisionist propaganda history.

160 million people paying in SS, on the promise that they will get paid SS when they retire.

Fuckers gonna fuck with it so real estate "developers" can live tax-free.

Why am I not surprised that Boomers, the only ones with a single payer healthcare system (other than the VA) are pulling up the ladder after them?

Funding is easily fixed by eliminating the SS income cap.
That would be part of it if not for the Golden Rule

You should blame the ladder being pulled up on the people who are pulling up the ladder: Republicans. If you can find an official policy statement from AARP saying we should roll up Medicare I’ll give you my car.

Do you seriously, really deep down in your bones feel that way?? WTF was born in 69.. Where in the fuck is the bad man , anti America , fake news and revisionist propaganda located. I would really really like to know because it looks like it is all located within the republican party at this point... Maybe get off the M&M's bad bandwagon and try and fix shit...

It’s a broad brush…but Trump is a boomer, most of his followers are boomers. As the large voting cohort (boomers) policy follows their needs. When they had young families, policy favored young families. Now they want to pass on wealth to their family so it’s death taxes, low cost insulin for Medicare but no one else….etc…

Most R are Boomers.

That's not exactly true. SS with holding tax is calculated separately from income tax in general. SE tax is also calculated differently than income generated from wages, or "other income".
I was SE most of my life, and I paid a much higher rate than my peers who had "wages". At the time I looked at it as my duty to have my freedom tax. Now I think I was just being penalized for not becoming a corporation, or more likely a non-profit org.
I wasn't very good at figuring out how to game the system, but I did enjoy going sailing at 10AM or 2PM on any given day of the week when the weather was fine, w/o having to ask the boss for the day off.
