ILCA North American Masters Thread

Time for a thread here.  Does anyone know what the status of ILCA NA is? I joined a few months back... no sticker, no newsletter, nada.  Very bare website. WTF?

Any leadership of the NA ILCA or Masters stuff lurk here? Guv? Bueller?

Also, I assume the gulf coast champs (https://theclubspot.com/regatta/7OxeQKJ2RF ) scheduled for the PYC are cancelled given the tragic events of this 'Cane?

E, thanks. For many years one would get a sticker (that went on the back of your laser) to that showed they were a class member... The sticker was a different color every year and made it easy for regatta organizers to determine who was a Laser class member without having to deal with the class office and get the roster, etc.

Cards are sent to members, but if someone lies about being a member when registering for a regatta - in any class - that is shameful. Hopefully not that many losers in our sport. And the stickers (was that in the 80’s?) didn’t deal with sold/borrowed boats.

Agreed, Bill.  That's Rule 69 stuff if ya lie on an entry form IMO

The stickers were used till at least the early 2000's
