Imx 40 Timeshaver mods

Interested in what locals have to say about the extensive mods to this boat. Is it much quicker than stock? Did they shave enough weight to get it out of the hole downwind? Can a sub-99th percentile driver cope with this foil?

And we'd need to know just what mod's were done, with the numbers of the changes

The engineering side looks good. I just wonder if the boat is too much of a beach ball to take advantage. These 40s are pretty similar to a 40.7 in proportion.

Hmm. I was at Windward today surveying an FT 10. Should have wandered around a bit. What does the profile look like?

Edit. Kinda looks like an Andrews fin and bulb.

That generation of X yachts will never get out of its own way downhill. Hullshape won’t support it no matter how light the boat is.
